Lawyers have no sense of humor and can't take criticism.
We get the reputation for it because of humorless bores like David Bernstein (a man who seemingly has no personality, let alone a sense of humor) posting clap trap like this.
Proof that being intelligent enough to be a law professor does not mean you're intelligent enough to understand criticism. Of course, I'm sure that part of what clouds Bernstein's ability to laugh is the fact that he was also mocked in the post he comments on.
