The luncacy of the Coaches Poll

This is my angry demand for the lazy coaches of NCAA Football to rectify their worthless poll by actually paying attention to the games. As fellow college football fans know, two teams were screwed over by the Coaches Poll.

You can see here that the USA Today/Coaches Poll has USC at number 1 with Texas at 2, etc. All of this makes sense. What I want you to notice is the rankings of TCU and Georgia Tech because both of those teams won last week. They didn't just win, they won on their opponents home turf on the opening game of the season. TCU stomped on Oklahoma and didn't even get put on the poll. Georgia Tech moved onto the poll at an insulting 21.

Winning at either Oklahoma or Auburn aren't easy tasks, but it happened last week by the teams who went to play them. Anyone who watched the games knows that the wins were not flukes. These wins were the real deal but the teams get screwed by a worthless poll. Auburn doesn't even have any business being on the poll this week but they hanged on somehow.

Ridiculous.
