The Undead
I'm surprised to read that the Texas Legislature pass (and Governor Rick Perry signed) a bill to allow for the possibility of life without parole. Before it was life with parole which almost certainly scared some people into voting for the death penalty. This should give a meaningful alternative to jurors in Texas who have the unfortunate decision of sentencing a convicted murderer.
