If you are staunchly against raising taxes then why would you criticize your mayor for not raising taxes in order to support a larger payroll, expensive safety devices, and whatever else would be required that would equal a lot of money? Professor, you can't have your cake and eat it too.

For Bainbridge it is a no win situation for a Democrat: if that Democrat has proposals to raise taxes then Bainbridge begins his usual kicking of his feet and whines about how he'll have to cut back on his hobby, however, if the Democrat doesn't raise taxes then he comes up with a reason why that Democrat should have raised taxes.

This is nothing but theater of the absurd in the form of a blog.
