Not again in 2025?

I'm watching a lot of the Live 8 concert while making notecards and studying non-diligently for the bar. If you want to see some fun pictures, you should check out Chris's covereage over at MyDD. You can even see a picture of Chris himself so you can watch for him on TV.

Thus far, I've really enjoyed the performances by U2 with Paul McCartney, Green Day, Coldplay and the Verve, and The Killers. This evening will be spectacular when Pink Floyd reunited!

Live 8 is also very well thought out in that it's not asking for you to donate money; they want your voice. Go over to The One Campaign and do what you think is appropriate.

Globalization is the key: we need fair trade, cancellation of debts for impoverished nations, grants to help build market places, better health care, et al if we want this world to be a more prosperious place for everyone. I think that a lot of people forget that helping others is in your own economic interest which is just basic economic planning and a large idea behind democratization.

Pink Floyd was overrated. Who plays a 7 minute song?? I saw history being made, but really, 7 minutes??
