After a little bit of work I was able to secure a law clerk job for this semester that, pending decent performance, will result in a permanent job offer.

It is with an immigration law firm that has high volume. Since last summer, immigration law has become my other passion, so I'm happy with this job. What makes me happier is that part of the reason for the hire was because they desire to add criminal law practice to their firm. I would assist with some of that along with (I would hope) an experienced criminal law attorney.

A semester testing period for both the firm and myself will quite possibly result in gainful employment!
