Alright, so this week I tried my first civil trial all on my own. It's one of the infamously notorious civil commitment of sexually violent predator type cases and I was on the losing side. I know that I was able to learn a heck of a lot about trying cases, so I'm excited to get to try more.
In much better news, my bestfriend, Ben, recently proposed to his longterm girlfriend and has a fiance! Congrats, Ben!
