I'm not sure anyone is really able to make sense of the stupid comment made by Senator Brownback (R-KA) in regards to the failed constitutional amendment regarding a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage. Brownback is quoted as saying that "We're not going to stop until marriage between a man and a woman is protected,"
How exactly does the marriage of a gay couple threaten the marriage between man and woman? Further, how exactly will banning such, and by the way, taking away the power of the states to decide what is more appropriate in their state, protect anything else? It seems like Brownback needs to take some basic logic courses.
