The Reconstruction Effort
General Colin Powell has been on quite a few news media shows this week to discuss what America is doing to assist the tsunami relief effort. One thing his appearance makes very clear is that Bush really fucked up by pushing him out of the cabinet next year. Republicans don't get any better than Powell. And there certainly isn't anyone in Bush's Cabinet who is as level-headed, well-spoken, and respected as Powell.
