All of my day will be spent in some dingy law school room watching Barbri tapes with other 3Ls who want to get a "Jumpstart" on the bar review thing. All of every Saturday (except Spring Break) will be spent doing this. Apparently people who participated in this program had a statistically more positive outcome when they took the Bar.
I wonder if that is because they learned the material better as a result of hearing it twice or if they are just the anal retentive sorts who would do better regardless?

Please enjoy your weekends. Someday you'll be working and you won't be able to. Or you'll be less able to. Believe me, you can bar prep after graduation and pass. An amazing majority do.

My opinion: the latter.
When I took the bar, it was Tuesday the 24th through Thursday the 26th (I hate three day bars).
Anyway, I didn't start studying until the 4th of July. I did the BarBri at home - the tapes - and listened to them all starting around them. (I started the tapes June 30th, actually.) I didn't take the practice tests in test like conditions (I ran out of time).
And I passed.
My conclusion: Anyone can pass.
Seriously, it's a forest for the trees thing. DON'T FORGET THAT. You don't need to know everything. Just the basics.
