Ok, so a quick update before we head out to dinner. This terminal has a photo uploader, so I was able to take some of my digital pictures to store online. I'll make this a photo essay.
Anyhow last night we went out to walk around the strip, drink, play craps, and cause mayhem.
This is the strip around twilight.
We went toward Bellagio to do some gambling. They have a great fountain show!
When you go inside you'll see the glass ceiling in there.
I decided that with my luck of winning a $350 the night before I would try to go for the million.
What I decided to do was separate the columns of what I would gamble with and what was in my winning pot. I came with $2000 that I would gamble. Like I said, it's enough that I can have fun and weep for a few months when I'm living off imitation pop tarts and ramen noodles for the next year. As of yesterday I was coming home with $350 and still had $2000 left. However, I lost $500 playing at the craps. Therefore, I was down to $1500 left to gamble with and $350 to go home with. This way I don't lose OVER $2000. Some people win and then just blow all their winnings.
Andie won a little at poker, but it wasn't enough to have any fun with it. Maggie however won $1000 on the nickel slots! Yay! We drank to celebrate. Matt and Mikal (a girl) both lost on something. We all took off.
Out on the strip we saw that it was dark, we considered going to Paris.
But instead we wound up going into the Venetian, where we saw this hallway.
We found a bar there that was having a Jackson Five party. I sang a song on the little machine. The so often overlooked Love You Save was my choice. I drank while I was singing and they awarded me with vouchers for more food! Yum. We gambled a little more where I actually won.
After being plenty drunk we headed back to our respective hotels. Here is the Excalibur where Maggie and I found our room.
It was after 3am when we fell asleep. Before we went to sleep we thought it would be fun to do flips onto our beds and scoring each other like the Olympics. Not wise after a night of drinking. It made me plenty woozy, but I was able to pull off a 9.6. She is contesting her score of an 8.9. It was sloppy and she nearly fell of her bed. After that we were exhausted so we went to our beds and passed out.
In the morning she wasn't happy.
We left to go and find Andie and friends at the Luxor.
Andie had his diet coke and also didn't look happy with the 11am thing. But there was football I had bet on already, so I needed to go and watch.
We left to go over to the MGM.
I did well with the football and came up with $250. Now my winning is $600 and I still have $1500. I went out to the Roulette Wheel and bet on black. In the end I was up another $100! Yay, I'm doing pretty well this trip. I think tonight I'll play a little poker.
We went out on the strip again.
And saw the Paris hotel by daylight
Tonight we'll be at NY, NY.
In the morning I'll fly back home, yawn.
