Mac users should go to Apple.com to see the preview for the new Tiger. They have announced that the release will be April 29, 2005.

The cost for a single user will be $129 but if you're a student you can use your educational discount to get it for $69.

I think those are decent prices (especially the educational discount) to get a new operating system. This one looks fabulous. Apple is taking preorders today...
