This example of local news anchors doing product placements with McDonald's frozen coffees is despicable. In this post it's a Fox news affiliate but I'm sure Fox isn't the only one who has latched onto the additional revenue.
Oh, and, there isn't even coffee in the cups. It's just like those fake desserts you see on the dessert carts at wannabe ritzy restaurants. It's as fake as the station is crappy.

I guess that's the new thing. I noticed my morning news people had Dunkin Donuts cups, with the logos conspicuously turned toward the camera. At least they were the opaque white cups and presumably could have held real coffee...
